Atlanta Engagement: Abby & Michael

Atlanta Engagement Photography I Atlanta, Georgia I The Optimist, ATL

I have had the privilege of getting to know Abby over the last few years, and I am so grateful to call her my friend. I remember one of the first times we hung out together, she told me about Michael - her long distance boyfriend. She lit up as she told me about his farm, and how hard he was working on publishing his book. The weeks and months passed on, and I heard more and more about Michael.

You know a love is strong when it can make it through three years of long distance! Spending long weekends, holidays, and summers together were enough to get them through--enough for their love to grow. Michael proposed at the end of last year on a quiet night at home while they were shucking oysters. So obviously their engagement session needed to be at The Optimist, an Atlanta oyster bar! This session was so fun, and relaxed. We order oysters, and the bartender poured us a toast. It was such a fun way to celebrate their love story.

p.s. Did I mention that Abby's family heirloom ring is absolutely gorgeous!
